Counselor (Correctional Facility).
Community Transitional Services, a Kentucky Department of Corrections contracted correctional facility, is seeking candidates for Counselors.
The facility administers substance abuse treatment to men referred by the Department of Corrections. Pay is $19.00 per hour, negotiable based on education and experience. The position offers a path to CADC licensure with required supervision each week. TCADC will be compensated by the employer. Counselors provide case management, assessments, group/class facilitation, disciplinary issues. In addition to hourly rate, employees are eligible for a monthly performance/attendance bonus of up to $175.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Case management, weekly counseling sessions, facilitating groups/classes, overseeing the disciplinary process, assisting in program progress, etc.
- Salary is negotiable based on education and experience. Monthly performance/attendance bonus.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and a valid driver’s license.
- A background check will be conducted. Individuals on supervision are not eligible.
- Monthly attendance bonus in addition to hourly pay.
